Responsibilities for Lead Professional Safeguarding Adults Jobs in UK:

  • Oversee the Trust’s adult safeguarding plan.
  • Develop protective services in collaboration with top leadership.
  • Verify adherence to the Prevent Duty, DoLS, Mental Capacity Act, and Care Act of 2014.
  • Attend external safeguarding boards and meetings on behalf of the Trust.
  • Finish the safeguarding investigations’ Individual Management Reviews (IMRs).
  • Participate in Reviews of Domestic Abuse-Related Deaths and Safeguarding Adults
  • Give professional safeguarding guidance in acute hospital environments.
  • Provide clinical and non-clinical professionals with safeguarding training.
  • Encourage the implementation of a trust-wide safeguarding strategy
  • When necessary, fill in for senior safeguarding leadership.

Requirements / Eligibility:

Candidates need to have:

  • Qualification as an Allied Health Professional, Social Worker, or Registered Nurse
  • Professional registration in the UK (NMC, HCPC, Social Work England)
  • Strong experience protecting adults
  • familiarity with NHS frameworks and safeguarding laws
  • Knowledge of case management and safeguarding reviews
  • Experience leading in social care or healthcare environments
